I’m sorry for the long review, I promise it’s worth the read!!••I have a very odd opinion of this product because I wanted to love it (and basically do) but It disappointed me in many ways. Since it’s so cheap and breakable, you better hope the trip or delivery man wasn’t being too rough as it was being delivered to you. Mine came dented, but was able to pop the dent right out! Next, pretty sure it’s because my niece got a little crazy with it, but lots of pieces fell apart as the drum was being played. How did I solve this problem? (because I wasn’t about to send something back and I wasn’t about to regret this $120 purchase my niece wanted) I SUPER GLUED THE WHOLE THING DOWN! Specifically the symbol and foot pedal. Worked just fine, just don’t over do it with the glue though, just add tads here and there and where necessary. Last, how many phones actually come with a AUX cord option now a days? Like 0-non, so if your going to connect a device make sure you can connect to it (Bluetooth is no option here). Though you’ll live if your not able to. The drum is still super cool and super fun! They just need to go back to the drawing board on durability and match the price the product.We love it easy to assemblePurchased this for my son as a birthday gift .. he’s wanted one for quite some time , finally decided to treat him .. He’s 7 years old, and loves it!!! Perfect size for him, as a starter set..totally surpassed my expectations! It was easy to set up, directions were clear and easy to follow..it has a durable , solid build... designed to last!!Sure we will get many years of use out of it. The feature he loves the most is hooking up his iPhone to it.. so that he can play along with his favorite youtube music videos.Also, it's a nice added feature to have a way to connect his headphones to it.. Great visuals with the Lights plus a microphone made it the best choice in this price range.. My daughter would sing on the mic while my son plays the drums along with music.So much fun for the kids, and me as well!! Has made for some fun family entertainment nights and great videos and picture!! Lots of good memories will be made with this set!Great investment!! Very happy with it!My son had fun for like 2 weeks but then it completely stopped working! I tried changing the batteries, charging it. Nothing. Eventually it didn’t even want to turn on. I was pretty disappointed.Overall great product, everything sounded good. But I wish for the money being expend it was more durable. The piece that hold the drums broke within 2 weeks of my 3-4 year old using it.This product was a gift to my 2 yr old for her birthday, the product was defective, only after a month the batteries already needed to be replaced and it turned off and on while she tried to use it and the microphone, very frustrating for a 2 year old who clearly doesn't understand why this keeps happeningMy granddaughter enjoys the appropriate sized set. I recommend better instructions for set up. When they say don’t attempt to take it a part they mean it!!! The tin crash cymbal needs work. I sent the first set back as it had been opened and cymbal was bent. Bottom line: fun set for children. Not so fun to set it up.We purchased this for my son's birthday and he LOVED it. Unfortunately, it lasted about a week before one thing broke and a second week before it became unusable. We are returning it and will have to look for a more durable drum kit for our toddler that likes to rock.
